Equinox Medical is the exclusive distributor of 3DMed’s end-to-end DNA & RNA detection systems and consumables.

Our current range commences with the ANDiS 350 Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction System in conjunction with the ANDiS DNA/RNA Extraction Kit enabling DNA/RNA purification from multiple sample types for a variety of downstream applications.

Our short term Pathology expansion includes utilisation of 3DMed’s range of FFPE DNA & RNA RT-qPCR Detection Kits, compatible with any number of third party Real-Time PCR Systems.

In addition, we plan to launch the ANDiS Automated NGS Prep System designed to be used in combination with the matching reagent to automate all library preparation reactions.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia, Equinox has been distributing 3DMed’s ANDiS® pathology system and consumables range to leading Australian pathology laboratories. These products are capable of processing over 4,500 patient specimens per day. The ANDiS systems are emerging as an integral component to existing pathology processing which delivers accurate, high quality, rapid and affordable test results in a highly flexible and scalable form factor.

Equinox provides systems, testing kits and diagnostic software for Laboratories, Research Institutes, Hospitals and Clinics. The types of testing involve nucleic acid extraction, RT-qPCR, genomic sequencing and immunofluorescent assays for virology, microbiology, oncology, fertility and veterinary diagnostic applications.
